Eileen Fong studied Chinese painting and other painting media while working in the health field. Having lived in British Columbia for most of her life, its beautiful surroundings become her source of inspirations. In her work, she strives to blend the east and west painting techniques while capturing the light and colors of nature with a sense of peace and spontaneity.

Winter Outing on the Beach

Beach outing is always a favourite pastime even in the wintertime. This is a beach Painting with family and children enjoying playing in the sand. The beautiful snow-capped mountains and distant view of the city buildings are the backdrops of this beach painting.

Winter Berries in the Snow

It is good to take a stroll along the river bank. I was delighted by this patch of bright red winter berries which became strikingly outstanding against the snow-covered ground. It added a cheerful feeling for the cold winter. This was in a peaceful setting of river, trees and distant mountains.
