Dark Waters

This reminds me of a secret garden–a place few will ever see, a hidden gem near the Earles Cove ferry dock. We had driven by it two or three times before I finally manage to take reference photos that made this artwork possible.

Wetlands

Wetlands earned an Award of Merit at Artspacific. It is creates with Washii papers–NO PAINT–. Some are random dyed, some as thick as half a layer of Kleenex, some are lact, some matted like felt. It is always a challenge to place papers such that distance is apparent, reflections logical but not perfect and the colours-natural and inviting. I’m thinking of bayous in Florida or Louisiana–warm, moist, unspoiled.
